Recklinghausen! You are so wonderful!?
We love our small town very much. It’s very practical to live here. We are close to many big airports we can be in Cologne and Düsseldorf fast and we are able to go to the Netherlands whenever we crave the sea. Sure, places like Mallorca are much more pretty, but Recklinghausen also has its beauty here and there. We wouldn’t want to treat.
Honey-dipped friendship. We always liked the thought of marriage being an endless sleepover with your favorite human.
A good alternative to the “Wedding March” by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy?
Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love”. A classic too, but tears everyone up within seconds when the bride is walking down the aisle.
Diamonds are a girl’s best friend? (Marilyn Monroe)
Who would dare to contradict Marylin?
Manolo Blahnik or DIOR?
Can I choose both?! Maybe Dior for the ceremony and Manolo Blahnik for the reception? And let’s add Jimmy Choo for the civil wedding.
It can’t always be caviar? (Johannes Mario Simmel)
We prefer pizza and pasta to fancy food like caviar :). We always do a little happy dance when our wedding couples decide to have a pizza party the night before their wedding.
The perfect wedding dress for Scarlett Johansson?
How about a custom Dior? Something with a big skirt and heavy fabric.
La Mariée était en noir? (François Truffaut)
It doesn’t have to be just white always. For example, Ritual Unions has some extraordinary black wedding dresses we would love to see in front of our cameras. How about all the guests wear white then?
The ultimate honeymoon destination?
Classic: The Maldives.
Your worst nightmare: a wedding in Las Vegas including an Elvis impersonator?
Not at all! If it’s authentic to the couple and doesn’t feel put on. Even a Vegas wedding can be in style. Sounds fun, we are in.
“Sex and the City” or “Four Weddings and a Funeral”?
Definitely “Sex and the City”. Carrie Bradshaw is a style icon, many of her fashion choices are still relevant to this day.
Your favorite member of the Kardashian-Jenner family?
Would die to have Kendall in front of our cam someday :D.
Without googling: who was married more often: Elizabeth Taylor or Henry VIII?
Elizabeth Taylor I guess?
Top 3 wedding dance songs?
We love it most when couples choose a song that feels completely like them – typically cheesy-romantic or not. But if we had to decide: Can’t Help Falling in Love (Elvis Presley), Unchained Melody (The Righteous Brothers) and You Are the Reason (Calum Scott).
If you liked it then you should have put a ring on it? (Beyoncé)
Yeees. We are obsessed with beautiful rings. And make sure to have someone capturing the ‘putting the ring on’ part. We are always up for some surprise engagement shootings.
“Lord of the Rings” or “Game of Thrones”?
Honestly, we didn’t watch either :D.
Your favorite fairytale?
The real ones we are allowed to witness. The gratitude in the eyes of two people who found each other and celebrating that in front of their loved ones can feel like a real-life fairytale.
The world’s greatest wedding? Prince Rainier Louis Henri Maxence Bertrand Grimaldi of Monaco & Grace Patricia Kelly?
We can’t stop swooning over the wedding of Elvis Presley and Priscilla (google their wedding photos, they are SO iconic). Oh, and we also really really loved the Justin Bieber/Hailey Baldwin wedding. Their sense of style was spectacular, and you can literally feel their affection through the photos.
Your goal in life? To make divorce lawyers unemployed?
Ha-ha we wish! Unfortunately, a perfect wedding doesn’t make a perfect marriage. But it can be a great start. We hope to capture the love you feel that day so you can remember this feeling together all your life.
