True. Instagram has bred a misconception about what a ‘model’ is. People mostly want pretty pictures of themselves – while the rules of ‘pretty’ themselves are dictated by Instagram.

Daisy Duck with a Pearl Earring. Both images have transcended art and meaning and become part of universal pop culture. Andy Warhol should have done them.
